How do I set up an account?

  • Go to Network Me.
  • Click Edit Profile. You will see a screen that says:

Customize your personal event concierge! with a large log-in button at the bottom of the page.

  • Click on Log In.

You received an email from your event producer with a link to download the app and instructions on how to send yourself a password.  Your password will be sent to your email address.  Once you have it, go back to Edit Profile and enter your email address and your password.  You can always reset your password and have a new one sent to you.

How do I manage my profile?

  • Go to Network Me.
  • Click on the Edit Profile tab at in the bottom tab bar.
  • You can use Update Facebook to add your photo, name, and your Facebook page url to your profile.  Click on Update Facebook and enter your username and password.  Give permission to Facebook to use your information.  (Only your public information will be added to the Profile page.)
  • Twitter:  Add your username.
  • LinkedIn:  Open Safari and navigate to LinkedIn.  Sign in.  Find your public profile URL by going to edit profile and then edit profile settings.  If you haven’t set up a custom url yet, you can do this now.  Add your complete URL to your mobile profile:  http://linkedin.com/in/kathleengilroy.
  • Complete any other profile information you want to make public.
  • Click done and save.

How do I create favorites?

You save favorites for people, sessions, exhibitors, hotels, stores, and parties.

  • For people. Go to Network Me.  (You must be logged in.)  Click on Favorite button at the bottom of the page.  You will get a confirmation that this person has been added to Favorites.
  • For hotels, restaurants, and partiesGo to Maps.  Find location.  Click on arrow.  Click on Favorite button at the bottom of the page.  You will get a confirmation that this location has been added to Favorites.
  • For Sessions.  Go to Sessions.  Find your session page.  Click on Add to Favorites.  You will get a confirmation that this session has been added to Favorites.
  • For exhibitors. Go to Exhibit Hall.  Click on search button in upper right hand corner of the screen.  Find exhibitor.  Click on Add to Favorites.  You will get a confirmation that this exhibitor has been added to Favorites.

How do I manage my privacy?

  • Go to Network Me. (You must be logged in.)
  • Click on Edit Profile.
  • You can TURN On “Hide Me Completely” which will remove you from the directory of profiles.
  • You can TURN OFF “Allow Private Messages” which will prevent anyone from sending you an email.  If you allow private messages, people can send you an email but your email address is NEVER exposed.

How do I send private messages?

  • Go to Network Me. (You must be logged in.)
  • Click on People.  Find your person.
  • Click on Email at the bottom of the page.
  • A form will open up for you to send a private message.  Private messages come from your email address.  Your recipient’s email address is never exposed.

How does Twitter work?

  • Go to Network Me.
  • Click on Twitter in the bottom nav bar.
  • Enter your Twitter credentials.
  • To post to Twitter, click on Update Twitter. You will see a form that auto-embeds the #event hashtag.

How do I report a Problem?

  • By clicking on the Info button (in the upper right hand corner of the Main Menu) you find a form to report a problem you have experienced.

How do I give you feedback on this app?

  • Under Info (the “i” button in the upper right hand corner of the main menu), you will find a form to send us feedback about your experience with this iPhone application.

before I struggle with the BB Storm have you tested it?

We have tested it on a simulator. One of our customers has been accessing SESMobile on his storm and says it looks and works fine.
